Tiramisu
Typical Italian.
Ingredients:
• 500 g mascarpone
• 3 egg yolks (pasteurised if possible)
• 45 g icing sugar
• 30 g rum
• 30 g advocaat
• 300 g cream
• 18 ladyfingers
• 300 g coffee, black
• Cocoa powder
Preparation:
Using a hand-held blender, mix the egg yolks, icing sugar and mascarpone. Stir in the liquid cream slowly until the mixture sets. Add rum and advocaat to taste. Soak the ladyfingers in the cold coffee and place in a dish of your choice. Cover with an approx. 1 cm thick layer of the cream, top with another layer of ladyfingers, then another layer of cream and repeat the layers one more time. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Presentation:
Top with a dusting of cocoa powder before serving.
