Great Dolomite trip to Cortina

A lot of km long, the Great Dolomites Road is a high mountain road which crosses the Dolomites from Bolzano to Cortina d'Ampezzo and is probably the most beautiful in the Alps. The many different rock formations in this mountain world promise an unforgettable experience. Drive via Bolzano through Val Gardena to Passo Gardena. Continue into Val Badia to Corvara and La Villa. You will arrive at your destination of Cortina d’Ampezzo via Passo di Valparola and Passo di Falzarego. Beautiful view of the Marmolata. Continue via the Passo Tre Croci to Lago di Misurina at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, then on to Brunico and Bressanone. The return journey takes you through Val d’Isarco via Bolzano to Merano and back to Val Venosta
