Road map 07 Tour Val Senales

Course: Naturno (554 m) - Certosa (1270 m) - Madonna di Senales (1480 m) - Vernago (1690 m) - Maso Corto (2020 m) - Naturno (554 m)

Our tour starts `from` the center of Naturno. From the center we turn towards Val Venosta. After ca. 2 km we turn left on the state road towards Val Venosta. After a hundred meters we turn right on the Val Senales road. We cross the illuminated tunnels and continue along the road that leads us uphill for approx. 24 km first in Certosa in Val Senales and then in Madonna di Senales (the main town in the valley). From here the serpentines start right up to the dam. After the dam we continue along the road to Vernago. There is the possibility to rest for a moment along the banks of the artificial lake before going along the last stretch of climb up to Maso Corto. Upon reaching the valley station of the cable car that takes you to the Val Senales glacier, we reached the highest point of the itinerary. From here we go back along the same road to Naturno.
