007 Vinschgau Panoramic Tour

Course: Naturno (554 m) - Castelbello (577 m) - Laces (642 m) - Silandro (738 m) - Corces (840 m) - Alliz (1125 m) - Tanas (1523 m) - Sluderno (922 m) - Lasa (870 m) - Silandro (738 m) - Laces (642 m) - Castelbello (577 m) - Naturno (544 m)

From the town center of Naturno, we take Via Stazione / Bahnhofstraße which leads us to a bridge, the starting point of the cycle path on the Lungoadige / Etschdamm. We turn right and take the cycle path towards Val Venosta. We pass through country lanes and cycle paths and finally we arrive in Castelbello and Laces. Once in Laces we follow the road and cross the town continuing in the direction of Coldrano and Vezzano. In Vezzano we take the main road (watch out for traffic) to Silandro which is one of the main and most important places in the Lower Venosta Valley. We pass Silandro and continue uphill in the direction of Corces and Lasa (it is recommended to travel this stretch on the road as the cycle path is not paved). We pass the sanctuary and turn right towards Lasa following the signs towards Alliz and Tanas. From here begins the demanding climb to Alliz (the first kilometers are the toughest ones). We pass Alliz and arrive in Tanas after traveling a multitude of switchbacks. We cross the town and follow the panoramic road that brings us to the highest point of our excursion (1580 m). A long descent to Sluderno follows. Once in Sluderno we continue to Glorenza (which is the smallest city in Italy). In Glorenza we turn left towards Tubre. Immediately after Glorenza we come to a crossroads. We turn to the left and we continue in direction Montechiaro and Prato (marked). In Prato we cross the town and turn right on the cycle path. We follow the signs and continue along the cycle path towards Lasa. Near the Rosi restaurant we cross the bridge to the left until we reach the center of Lasa. At the junctions, we turn right and at the end of the town we reach the state road. We follow the road downhill to Silandro and then continue to Vezzano. We leave the state road and turn right into the road that leads us to Coldrano and then to Laces. We return to Naturns on the same road as we did on the outward journey.
