003 Tour Lake Caldaro

Course: Naturno (554 m) - Marlengo ( 363 m) - Lana ( 313 m) - Pista ciclabile delle mele - "Unterrain" (272 m) - S. Paolo (394 m) - Lago di Caldaro (214 m) - Ora (228 m) - Pista ciclabile dell' Adige - Naturno (554 m)

From the town center of Naturns, we take Via Stazione / Bahnhofstraße which leads us to a bridge, the starting point of the cycle path on the Lungoadige / Etschdamm. We turn left on the cycle path towards Merano. We pass through the villages of Plaus and Rablà until we reach Tel. We cross the road and take the new cycle path to Lagundo which takes us downhill to the Lagundo swimming pool. We cross the wooden bridge and continue to the next intersection. We turn left to the Forst brewery. Near the brewery we cross the state road and take the climb that leads to Marling. On a hilly road we finally arrive in Marling. We cross the town and descend to Cermes and then to Lana (marked). In Lana we cross two roundabouts and arrive at an intersection where the road turns sharply to the left. We continue straight on a short stretch of cobblestone towards Lana di Sotto. We pass the church of Lana di Sotto (where the altar of Schnatterpek is located) and continue among the apple orchards towards Bolzano. We continue to the roundabout (near the gas station). We cross the roundabout straight to the next intersection. Downhill we pass near a sawmill and then continue along the road keeping to the left. We pass an underpass and arrive at a refreshment. We continue along the Wine Route until the crossroads for S. Paolo. We turn right towards S. Paolo. After a short climb we arrive at S. Paolo. We cross the town and continue in the direction of Appiano and Caldaro. We reach the road that leads to Lake Caldaro. We continue along this road until we reach the lake. From here we pass the lake and at the next crossroads we turn left towards Ora. At Ora we and turn left on the cycle path that takes us back to Lana. In Lana we continue in the direction of Postal and Merano. Once in Merano we cross the center and continue towards Lagundo. At the junctions we follow the signs that take us back to the cycle path and to the climb that goes to Tel. In Tel we retrace the cycle path up to Naturno.
