Course: Naturno – Castelbello – Laces – uphill Töbrunn – "Latscher Alm" hut – trail “4-gewinnt-13” – Laces – Castelbello – Naturno
From the town center of Naturno, we take Via Stazione / Bahnhofstraße which leads us to a bridge, the starting point of the cycle path on the Lungoadige / Etschdamm. We turn right and take the cycle path towards Stava, `where` we will have a beautiful view to Castle of Juval. Arrived in Stava, we turn right, cross the bridge and turn left to follow the cycle path. We follow the cycle Path which leads us through the villages Castelbello and Laces `where` we ride to the center and turn left and follow the street to the intersection near the AquaForum. We keep on the right side, ride past the ice rink and the restaurant "Latscherhof" into a forest street that leads us to the Magrinböden. From now on it´s a long mid-steep uphill to the pic nic place of "Töbrunn". The last stage of the climb is an up and down to reach the "Latscher Alm" hut. We take our time for a break and have lunch at the hut with a special local flavour. For the downhill we take the "4-gewinnt-13" singletrail (S2) which combines two technically really demanding trails into one. After 1,2 kilometers on the forest street, `where` we came `from`, we arrive at the legendary trail nr. 4, which according to the MountainBIKE magazine is one of the ten best trails in the alps. We jump into the trail and ride down through the forest and arrive back at a forest street. The lower part of the trail nr. 4 is only for the hikers so we take a ride a small part on the forest street to relax our whole body before we turn right into the next trail (nr. 13) which is also a phisically and technically demanding trail with some exposed sections alongside some rock and root sections at the lower part of the trail which makes it even more difficult. Finally the trail crosses the "Neuwaal" trail that brings us back to Laces and `from` there on we take the cycle path back to our starting point in Naturno.
