Course: With the bike shuttle to the Kreuzbrünnl car park - uphill Malga Naturno to the crossroads for the descent Brand trail - "Brandhof" farm - Plon - Platzgumm - Ötzi trail - Naturno
A path that has something special! This is the most recent route on Monte Tramontana and rewards us with the tasting of the products of the Brandhof dairy. What more do you want? To try our hand at the latest addition to the flow trail routes, we take advantage of the bike shuttle transport service that takes us to the Kreuzbrünnl car park. From here we follow the signs for the uphill of Malga Naturno for a stretch along the forest road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers we reach a crossroads at 1,690 meters above sea level. We turn left on the forest road and after a few hairpin bends we reach the start of the trail. We surf on the ground of the undergrowth and on pine cones through the woods of Monte Tramontana, we face passages as narrow as our hands on the handlebars. The track is fun and ends directly at the farm "Brandhof" that gives the track its name. The farm also has its own dairy! For a snack we can taste the cheeses and other delicacies produced at home: a perfect stop along our route and another trail is already waiting for us. After the farm, the steep road on asphalt leads us to a turn, from which we continue to climb to the left. For a short stretch we take the asphalted road of the uphill of Malga Naturno, then follow the signs in the direction of the "Platzgumm" farm. Just before Platzgumm, a sign indicates access to the Ötzi trail (S3). We climb along the path and at 1,230 meters above sea level we enter the trail. In some sections a good technical ability is needed, overall we sail on the track with fluidity downstream. In Cirlano we leave the Ötzi trail again and, following the path through the fields, we return to Naturno.
